about

Collin Daniels and Gabriel Rivero formed the core of Red Treasure in late 2015 in Los Angeles, with Daniels on vocals and rhythm guitar, and Rivero on drums. Specializing in melodic, riff-centric power punk, the group's sound gives a definite nod to 90's alternative bands like Smashing Pumpkins and Nirvana, along with a healthy dash of 80's-era Metallica-esque hard rock. Their second EP, "Dark Red Soul," sees the band growing in both songwriting and power. In the studio, the band again teamed up with Engineer/Co-Producer Spencer Guerra, and Rivero reprised his dual role on bass and drums. For this sophomore effort, the group enlisted piano man Corey Landis for all of the tracks, and Louis Aquiler from The Oil Barons to add lead guitar to 4 of the 5. On "The Girl with The Silent Scream," Rivero does triple duty, adding lead guitar to his work on the bass and behind the drum kit.
